SEALED TENDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED: at the Municipal Office located at 3131 Old
Perth Road, Almonte until 10:00am local time, on April 15, 2021. Tenders must be clearly
marked for the "Tender for Municipality of Mississippi Mills, Levi Bridge Replacement –
Contract No. 18-053". Tenders will be opened in public at the Municipal Office building
immediately following the tender closing.
WORKS SHALL INCLUDE: The general scope of work includes, but is not necessarily
limited to the complete replacement of the existing single span structure with a new
single span structure consisting of reinforced concrete abutments / wingwalls, steel
girders, concrete deck, installation of the beam barrier on bridge deck and wingwalls,
waterproofing and paving over bridge deck, installation of new approach guiderail
including end treatments, construction of new mechanically stability earth retaining
walls, replacement of asphalt pavement on approaches, and placement of new rip-rap /
riverstone rock protection.
