  • Recommended Motion:

    WHEREAS the Corporation of the Council of the Municipality of Mississippi Mills is committed to community safety and well-being for its citizens,

    AND WHEREAS Part XVI Sec. 248 (1) of the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019, S.O. 2019, c. 1, Sched. 1 states that “every municipality shall prepare and, by resolution, adopt a community safety and well-being plan,”

    THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Corporation of the Municipality of Mississippi Mills adopts the Community Plan for Safety and Well-being Plan for Lanark County and the Town of Smiths Falls (2025-2029) as presented by the Community Plan for Safety and Well-being Advisory Committee.
